Stop the Bleed trains civilian bystanders and medical personnel alike to respond in emergency situations with bleeding control until first responders arrive. Uncontrolled bleeding can lead to death. In this class, you will learn how to safely and properly apply a tourniquet when necessary until further treatment can be obtained.
This session is presented by the American College of Surgeons, the Association of Trauma Program Managers of Los Angeles, Orange County Trauma Centers and Anaheim Fire.
Classes are taught by UCI Health physicians, nurses and staff.

Who may attend?
This class is open to the public and to all ages. Please be aware that some graphic images of injuries will be shown during the training.

This Stop the Bleed Training session is free, but registration is required.
There is limited parking on site, but plenty of street parking available.
