Brain Injury Support Group

Brain injury support groupThe UCI Health Brain Injury Support Group is dedicated to providing a community for individuals who have survived a brain injury, and for family members and caregivers.

In our monthly meetings, we strive to provide speakers, focus on specific topics, and involve social activities or programs that benefit our survivors and families. This is a time to share experiences, resources and encouragement, and to connect with support group members.

Meetings are held the second Wednesday of every month,
5:30-7 p.m.

Topics include:

  • Empowering caregivers
  • Music for the brain
  • Neuropsychology and navigating emotions
  • Occupational therapy after brain injury
  • Physical therapy after brain injury

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, all meetings are being held online until further notice.

A Zoom link will be emailed to participants before each class.
