Introduction to Mindfulness

This program will teach techniques like meditation, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.

Such mindfulness techniques can lead to a better response to the present moment, calmness, and insight within yourself. The goal of this program is to promote positive energy for self-understanding and healing.

About the instructor

The course will be led by Licensed Clinical Social Worker, Nicole Nosrat.

Nicole has obtained a certificate in Mindfulness for Clinical Practice: Interventions for trauma, anxiety, depression, stress, and more.

She is an active Yogi and has personally benefitted from the stress-reducing benefits of meditation. Nicole frequently uses Mindfulness techniques when working with patients suffering from trauma, chronic illness, and disabling injuries.

All yoga mats and materials provided. You are also welcome to bring your own yoga mat.
