This program will teach techniques like meditation, emotion regulation, and distress tolerance.
Such mindfulness techniques can lead to a better response to the present
moment, calmness, and insight within yourself. The goal of this program is to promote
positive energy for self-understanding and healing.

Benefits of mindfulness
"When we cultivate mindfulness, we learn to calm down enough
and dwell in states of deep relaxation. This nourishes and
restores body and mind.
"At the same time, it makes it easier
for us to see with greater clarity the way we actually live and
therefore how to make changes to enhance our health and the
quality of our life.
"Additionally, being mindful helps us channel
our energy more effectively in stressful situations, or when we are feeling
threatened or helpless.
"This energy comes from within and
is therefore always in our reach.
The path to mindfulness, in any moment, lies no further than your own body
and mind and your own breathing." — John Kabat-Zinn
