Dr. Lizhou Huang is a UCI Health gastroenterologist whose clinical interests include motility dysphagia, esophageal dysmotility and gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD).
He received his medical degree at Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine in Chicago, Ill. He completed an internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where he served an additional year as chief resident. Next, he completed a fellowship in gastroenterology and hepatology at the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA.
Huang has made presentations at national meetings and has published his research in peer-reviewed journals. He is a member of the American Gastroenterological Association (AGA) and the American Neurogastroenterology and Motility Society (ANMS).
Huang sees patients at the UCI Health H.H. Chao Comprehensive Digestive Disease Center in Orange and UCI Health — Yorba Linda.
