Dr. Chris Pan is a cardiologist who specializes in interventional cardiology and nuclear cardiology. He provides cardiac care for patients with ischemic heart disease (also known as coronary heart disease) and general heart problems. Board-certified in cardiac nuclear imaging, Pan performs coronary and peripheral artery imaging and stenting, and left ventricular assist device placement.
Pan earned his medical degree at Tufts University School of Medicine. He completed his internal medicine residency, general cardiology fellowship and interventional cardiology fellowship at the UC Irvine School of Medicine. During his fellowship, he was awarded Fellow of the Year and selected as Chief Fellow. He also won the American College of Cardiology’s Excellence in Cardiology Fellowship Award.
Pan is fluent in Mandarin Chinese and Taiwanese. When not involved in patient care, he enjoys snowboarding, playing basketball and traveling.
