Dr. Aalap C. Shah is a board-certified UCI Health anesthesiologist who specializes in adult and pediatric anesthesiology.
Shah earned his medical degree at the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine in Pittsburgh, Pa. He completed a residency in general anesthesiology at the University of Washington School of Medicine in Seattle, Wash., followed by fellowships in pediatric anesthesiology and research at Boston Children’s Hospital/Harvard Medical School.
He is the author or co-author of numerous articles in peer-reviewed journals on topics such as nerve injury, quality improvement and perioperative compliance. His current research focus is on minimally invasive pain control methods, including music therapy and nanoanesthesia.
