Dr. Anne Zuzelski is a board-certified UCI Health specialist in physical medicine and rehabilitation, with expertise in image-guided regenerative medicine treatments to heal acute and chronic injuries of the spine, joints and extremities. She also uses platelet-rich plasma and other therapies to more effectively heal injuries.
She earned her medical degree at Wayne State University in Detroit, Mich., followed by a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at the University of Michigan Medical School in Ann Arbor. She then completed a fellowship in spinal cord injury at the UCI School of Medicine.
Zuzelski began her medical career in private practice in Grand Rapids, Mich., where she treated a variety of patients with severe neurological and orthopedic conditions that impaired their function. It is through this work that she learned of regenerative injection therapy, also known as prolotherapy, and its application for such conditions as spine injuries, tendon tears, arthritis and many others.
