Join UCI Health for the 6th Annual Burn Symposium, during which experts will discuss At the Bedside: The Nuts and Bolts of Burn and Wound Care. We will take a closer look at both burns and wounds from a clinical perspective with a focus on understanding the pathophysiology and how it presents in the acute care setting. We will explore clinical decision making with regards to various skin substitutes and how to care for them from both a nursing and therapy perspective. Breakouts will include hands on wound care for nurses and rehabilitation specific topics.
