Dr. Heidi Stephany is a board-certified UCI Health urologist who specializes in pediatric urology. Her clinical interests include complex reconstructive surgery, specifically hypospadias and congenital malformations, as well as pediatric urologic oncology.
Stephany received her medical degree from the University of Kansas School of Medicine in Kansas City, where she also completed a residency in urology. She received fellowship training in pediatric urology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tenn. Before joining UC Irvine, she served as an assistant professor and associate clinical director of pediatric urology at the Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh and the University of Pittsburgh Medical Center.
Her research interests include neurogenic and non-neurogenic voiding dysfunction. She serves as director of the Department of Urology's pediatric urology fellowship program. She is also a board member of IVUMed, an international urologic non-governmental organization (NGO), and conducts workshops in Africa to share her expertise in pediatric urology with local urologists.
Stephany sees patients at CHOC Urology Center and the UCI Health Center for Urological Care.
