Dr. Huawei Dong is a board-certified UCI Health pulmonologist who specializes in critical care medicine and the diagnosis and treatment of lung diseases.
Dong earned her medical degree at Dartmouth University's Geisel School of Medicine in Hanover, N.H. She completed an internal medicine residency at Cedars-Sinai Medical Center in Los Angeles, where she served as chief resident. She received fellowship training in pulmonary and critical care medicine at Brigham and Women's Hospital in Boston, Mass.
Her clinical and research interests include interstitial lung diseases, bronchiectasis and inherited lung diseases. She has presented her research at a number of national conferences.
Dong, who speaks Mandarin, sees patients in Orange.
