Diabetes Overview
This free workshop is meant for anyone with diabetes, those with pre-diabetes, or at risk for pre-diabetes, and for individuals, family members and caregivers of those with diabetes. Anyone interested in learning more about diabetes is also welcome.

The workshop series schedule and topics are below. We recommend that you attend all six sessions to get the most out of this series, practice what you learned and become healthier. Sessions occur on the last Wednesday of each month from 3:30 to 4:30 p.m. via Zoom.

- July 29 — Medications, Insulin Injections, Sick Days
- Aug. 26 — Psychosocial Adjustment / Healthy Coping, Patient Health Behavior Goal(s)
- Sept. 30 — Preventing, Detecting, Treating Chronic Complications, Foot Care, ABC’s
- Oct. 28 — Holiday Special – Part 1: Navigating the Holidays with exercise, stress management, medications and traditional American foods and customs
- Nov. 18 — Holiday Special – Part 2: Navigating the Holidays with exercise, stress management, medications and multi-cultural foods and customs
- Dec. 8 — End of Year Diabetes Program Social
