Do you see stars when you hit your head?

IN THE NEWS: The website Gizmodo recently asked UC Irvine neuro-opthalmologist Dr. Robert Wade Crow why people tend to see stars when struck on the head.

“If you irritate the brain, it may create a response like it’s normally used to creating, which is, in this case, a visual response,” Crow said.
