Dr. Ichiro Yuki is a UCI Health neurointerventionalist who specializes in the medical and surgical treatment of cerebrovascular diseases, including brain aneurysms, ischemic strokes, brain arteriovenous malformation, brain and spine arteriovenous fistula, carotid stenosis and intracranial tumors.
Yuki earned his medical degree at Jikei University School of Medicine in Tokyo, where he completed a residency in neurological surgery. He then completed a fellowship in interventional neuroradiology at David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA in Los Angeles.
Yuki is also trained in minimally invasive endovascular procedures, including embolization and stenting of brain aneurysms, embolization of arteriovenous malformations and arteriovenous fistulas, as well as carotid stenting using the most advanced imaging technology.
Yuki’s research interests include development of new endovascular devices and imaging applications for the latest angiography machines. His research and writings have received multiple national and international awards.
