Patient Equity Reports
California law (Assembly Bill 1204) requires hospitals to share information about the quality of care and patient outcomes for different groups of people, such as age, race and ethnicity, language and insurance type. Every year, hospitals must send a report to the state that shows where differences in care exist and explains what they will do to make care more fair. These reports are posted on the state’s website and on each hospital’s website, including ours, so patients and families can see how we are working to provide equal care for everyone.
These reports, which are available for each of our locations, include general information about the law, high-level data findings, our top 10 areas where differences were found, our action plans, and details about some of our priority areas, such as person-centered care and patient safety.
