The UCI Health Ambulatory Infusion Pharmacy supports patients receiving infusion and injection therapies across multiple outpatient infusion centers throughout Orange County.

Our pharmacists work closely with physicians, nurses and other healthcare professionals to review treatment plans, support medication access, prepare medications and help ensure therapies are delivered safely and effectively. We are committed to providing high-quality, care centered on you throughout the treatment journey.

Services provided

Medication review and verification

Pharmacists review treatment plans, medication orders, laboratory results and clinical information to help ensure therapies are appropriate, safe and aligned with established treatment protocols.

Sterile medication preparation

Our pharmacy team prepares sterile medications, including chemotherapy, biologics, immunotherapies and supportive care treatments, in accordance with national quality and safety standards.

Infusion therapy support

Pharmacists collaborate with providers and infusion nurses to support the safe administration of infusion and injectable therapies.

Medication safety monitoring

Our pharmacists evaluate medication-related concerns, potential drug interactions, allergies and therapy-specific safety to optimize treatment outcomes.

Patient education and medication counseling

Pharmacists are available to answer medication-related questions and provide education regarding treatment expectations, side effects and medication management.

Medication access and patient assistance programs

Our pharmacists work closely with providers, manufacturers and healthcare partners to help eligible patients access specialty medications. We support enrollment in patient assistance and manufacturer-sponsored free drug programs when available, helping reduce barriers to care and avoid delays in treatment.

Access to specialized therapies

Our infusion pharmacies support a broad range of specialty therapies, including oncology, neurology, rheumatology, gastroenterology, infectious disease and other complex medical conditions.
