The UCI Health Center for Pain and Wellness provides compassionate, expert evaluation and treatment for all types of pain, including:
Once we have identified the source of your pain, we work with you to develop a treatment plan that addresses these issues.
Our goal is to restore your quality of life and return you to a life that is pain-free.
Treatments range from conventional pain management with medication to interventional procedures, such as epidural steroid injection, radiofrequency ablation and implantable pain pumps. We also offer alternative treatments, such as biofeedback, acupuncture and herbal therapy.
The experience of pain — and the causes of that pain — is different for each person. Pain is a complex condition with no one-size-fits-all solution.
Because of this, we work closely with you to find the right combination of treatments and medications that work together to provide you with relief from your pain.
Many of our treatment methods include using medications as part of an overall treatment plan to relieve your discomfort.
