MyChart is changing soon

A new, improved version of MyChart will launch Dec. 1, 2025, to make managing your care even easier.

Learn more about the new MyChart

Patient Portal: MyChart

Welcome to the new UCI Health MyChart

Beginning December 1, 2025, UCI Health is transitioning to an upgraded version of MyChart — your secure portal for appointments, messages, results, and bill pay. It’s designed to make it easier to stay connected with your care team and manage your health from anywhere.

Need older records or to pay an older bill?

Visit my-archive.ucihealth.org starting December 1, 2025.

Important dates

  • December 1–5, 2025 (soft launch):
The new MyChart will be available to log in, but some features, such as messaging, will be temporarily unavailable as we complete the transition.
If you can’t find certain information during this time, please check the MyChart Archive for older data and bills.
  • December 6, 2025 (full launch):
All MyChart features will be fully available for care on and after this date. You may notice some updates in how your information is displayed or organized. If you still can’t find certain information, please check the MyChart Archive.

What’s new

The upgraded MyChart makes it easier to:

  • View your medical records including past visits, medications, allergies, and immunizations
  • Schedule appointments and find care
  • Request prescription refills
  • Send secure messages to your care team for non-urgent needs
  • See test results as soon as they’re available
  • View and pay bills in one place

This improvement will ensure that you have all the necessary information at your fingertips.

What to expect

  1. Your login stays the same
Continue using my.ucihealth.org or the MyChart app with your current username and password.
If you used Face ID or Touch ID, you can re-enable it after your first sign-in under Account Settings.
  2. You’ll see two UCI Health options
  • UCI Health (new): For current care—appointments, messages, results, and bills going forward.
  • Archive (previous): For older information and bills related to care before December 6, 2025. The Archive will remain available for about one year.

Please note:

  • Bills related to care received before Dec. 6, 2025, will appear in the archived MyChart.
  • Bills related to care received on or after Dec. 6, 2025, will appear in the new MyChart.
  1. Your past information is coming with you
Most of your clinical information and three years of past MyChart messages will move to the new system. Older message threads will be read-only. To contact your care team, start a new message.

New to MyChart?

Create an account. If you were previously using Cerner or Athena to view information related to care received at the UCI Health Community Network, your information is now available in MyChart.

There are three ways to create your UCI Health MyChart account.

  1. With an Activation Code
If you’ve received care at UCI Health within the last 36 months, you’ll receive an instant activation code via email, SMS, or letter starting December 8, 2025. Once you receive your code, visit https://my.ucihealth.org/UCI/app/activation to create your account.
  2. At your next visit
Ask your care team to help you sign up. They can register you for a MyChart account during your visit or give you an activation code to use at home.
  3. Use self sign-up to receive an activation code
  • Go to my.ucihealth.org and select “Sign up.”
  • Under “No Activation Code?”, choose “Sing up with your information.”
  • Complete the form to verify your identity and create your account.

Patients under 18 require a parent or adult proxy to sign up.

Already have an activation code?

Visit the MyChart sign-up page and follow the on-screen instructions to create your account.
