Douglas Niedzwiecki, Senior Vice President, UCI Health Community Network
Doug Niedzwiecki, MBA, MHA, FACHE, is senior vice president of the UCI Health Community Network.
Working in partnership with each CEO of the community network, Niedzwiecki provides direct oversight of its hospitals to advance the academic health system's shared goals and ensure a consistent, high-quality experience across UCI Health.
Niedzwiecki previously served as vice president of health system integration at UCI Health. He led the Integration Management Office and held responsibility for designing and implementing integration strategies centered around people and culture, quality and access, and financial performance since the health system’s acquisition of four hospitals and their associated outpatient centers in March 2024.
Niedzwiecki joined UCI Health in 2021 as the vice president of ambulatory care, where he was responsible for leading the operations and strategy of more than 80 ambulatory clinics across the health system, leading the strategic operating plans, achieving performance goals and inspiring excellence in all its components. He has helped lead many incredible accomplishments, including the UCI Health ambulatory network becoming one of the country’s best in the annual Vizient Inc. Ambulatory Quality and Accountability Rankings in 2022, 2023 and 2024.
Niedzwiecki earned his MBA and master’s in health administration at St. Louis University and completed his post-graduate training in the Fellowship Program in Health Care Administration at Kaiser Permanente – Southern California.
