Dr. Brian Cheung is a fellowship-trained UCI Health internal medicine physician who specializes in preventive cardiology.
Cheung earned his medical degree at Western Michigan University Homer Stryker M.D. School of Medicine in Kalamazoo, Mich. He completed an internal medicine residency at St. Bernards Medical Center in Jonesboro, Ark., followed by fellowship training in preventive cardiology at the Emory Clinical Cardiovascular Research Institute at Emory University in Atlanta, Ga.
His research interests include preventive heart health, clinical lipidology and health equity.
Cheung sees patients in Irvine and Newport Beach.
