Dr. Andrew R. Reikes is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in endocrinology and internal medicine. His clinical interests include diabetes and metabolism, osteoporosis and thyroid disorders.

He earned his medical degree at the UC San Diego School of Medicine. He completed an internship and residency in internal medicine at Huntington Memorial Hospital in Pasadena, followed by a fellowship in endocrinology at the UCI School of Medicine.

In fall 2021, Reikes was named one of 12 Dean's Scholars, a select group of UCI School of Medicine faculty members charged with implementing initiatives that advance the training and assessment of medical students' clinical skills and develop the next generation of medical education scholars and national leaders. He also serves as the medical school's associate dean for primary care medicine.

He sees patients at UCI Health — Irvine and Gottschalk Medical Plaza.
