During your initial meeting with a physical therapist, the first step is an examination and assessment of your condition.
You will be evaluated for pain, swelling, flexibility, strength, function and endurance. Over time, your physical therapist will work with you to improve your condition through exercise, manual therapy, gait and balance training.
Your treatment plan is unique, tailored to your individual condition, needs and goals.
