Dr. Anoushka Dua is a board-certified UCI Health gastroenterologist who provides comprehensive care for patients with a wide range of digestive disorders. She practices general gastroenterology, evaluating and treating conditions including gastroesophageal reflux disease (GERD), difficulty swallowing (dysphagia), abdominal pain, constipation, diarrhea, gastrointestinal bleeding, iron deficiency anemia, colorectal polyps and other disorders of the digestive tract. She also has specialized clinical and research interests in colorectal cancer prevention.

Her work focuses on individuals at increased risk for colorectal cancer, including those with hereditary cancer syndromes such as Lynch syndrome and polyposis syndromes as well as early-onset colorectal cancer prevention. Dedicated to advancing the care of these high-risk populations, she has been mentored by leading national experts in the field of hereditary gastrointestinal cancer syndromes at both the Cleveland Clinic and the University of Chicago. Dua is passionate about ensuring that high-risk individuals receive comprehensive, guideline-based cancer screening—not only for colorectal cancer but for all cancers for which they are at increased risk.

Driven by a commitment to equity, Dua regularly volunteers at community health fairs to provide crucial education on colorectal cancer prevention to underserved populations. Through clinical care, research and community engagement, she strives to expand access to cancer prevention and screening, improve early detection and deliver personalized, evidence-based care for diverse patient populations.
