Dr. Avi Baskin is a fellowship-trained UCI Health urologic oncologist who cares for patients with prostate, bladder, kidney and testicular cancers. He specializes in robotic, laparoscopic and open surgery, and works closely with patients to align treatment with their individual goals and health needs.
He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA. He completed his internship and residency at UC San Francisco, followed by a Society of Urologic Oncology fellowship in urologic oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville.
His clinical interests include active surveillance for prostate cancer, bladder-preserving strategies and minimally invasive surgery for kidney and bladder tumors. Patients appreciate his clear communication and supportive approach throughout the treatment process.
