Dr. Carol N. Monis is a board-certified UCI Health gastroenterologist.
She earned her medical degree from American University of the Caribbean in St. Maarten. She completed a residency in internal medicine, followed by a fellowship in gastroenterology, both at Riverside Community Hospital in Riverside, Calif.
Monis is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive and evidence-based care to patients with digestive health concerns. She strives to build strong relationships with her patients and takes the time to understand their individual needs and goals. During patient visits, she emphasizes clear communication and shared decision-making, helping patients better understand their health and feel actively involved in their care.
Outside of medicine, she enjoys traveling, dancing, watching Bollywood movies and spending time with family and friends.
