She earned her medical degree from the New York Institute of Technology College of Osteopathic Medicine in Old Westbury, N.Y. She completed a transitional year internship at Stony Brook Southampton Hospital in Southampton, N.Y., followed by a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in breast imaging at Atlantic Health System–Morristown Medical Center in Morristown, N.J.
