Frances Dang, MD
Gastroenterology
Dr. Frances Dang is a board-certified UCI Health gastroenterologist with specialized training in advanced endoscopic procedures including endoscopic ultrasound, endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography (ERCP), endobariatrics and third space procedures (i.e. endoscopic submucosal dissection, per-oral endoscopic myotomy). She is dedicated to providing compassionate, comprehensive care for patients with various digestive conditions.
Originally from Canada, Dang completed her undergraduate education at the University of Western Ontario and Masters of Science at the University of Toronto. She completed medical school at Queen’s University and her internal medicine and gastroenterology residencies at the University of Toronto. Next, she pursued an interventional endoscopy fellowship at UCI Medical Center, where she now serves as faculty.
Dang believes in building strong partnerships with her patients through education, trust, and shared decision-making. She is conversational in Vietnamese and welcomes the opportunity to care for patients from diverse backgrounds.
