Frank Yuan, MD

Dr. Frank Yuan is a UCI Health interventional radiologist.

He earned his medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA before completing a preliminary internship in general surgery at Jefferson Health–Albert Einstein Medical Center in Philadelphia. He subsequently completed an integrated residency in diagnostic and interventional radiology at Johns Hopkins Hospital in Baltimore, where he also completed an NIH/NIBIB T32 postdoctoral research fellowship at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine.

Yuan specializes in minimally invasive, image-guided procedures to diagnose and treat a wide range of conditions. His clinical interests include interventional oncology, hepatobiliary and genitourinary interventions, prostate artery embolization, venous interventions and dialysis access management. His research has focused on advancing image-guided therapies and improving outcomes for patients undergoing minimally invasive treatments.
