Giovanna S. Manzano, MD

Dr. Giovanna S. Manzano is a board-certified UCI neurologist who specializes in neuroimmunology/multiple sclerosis.

Her clinical interests include CNS demyelinating diseases, autoimmune/paraneoplastic encephalitis and cerebellitis/cerebellar degeneration, CNS neurotoxicities and neurological manifestations of rheumatologic conditions.

She earned her medical degree with distinction in research from Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra Northwell. She completed her medicine internship at Massachusetts General Hospital (MGH), neurology residency at MGH/Brigham and Women's Hospital/Harvard Medical School and neuroimmunology fellowship at MGH, where she then served as faculty.

Manzano is dedicated to delivering compassionate care to her patients. Her research aims to optimize diagnostic approaches and therapeutic options for patients with rare neuroimmunologic conditions. She is accepting new patients at UCI Health - Irvine and Laguna Hills campuses.
