
Imad R. Khan, MD
Neurocritical Care
Dr. Imad R. Khan is a board-certified UCI Health neurologist who specializes in neurocritical care.
He earned his medical degree from St. George's University School of Medicine. He completed a residency in neurology at the State University of New York at Stony Brook, followed by a fellowship in neurocritical care at the R. Adams Cowley Shock Trauma Center, University of Maryland Medical Center.
Prior to joining UCI Health, Khan served as a neurointensivist and faculty member at the University of Rochester Medical Center for eight years.
He is also a clinical researcher who leads studies in comatose patients with traumatic brain injury, cardiac arrest and other neurological emergencies.
Khan is a hospital-based physician who provides expert, in-patient care, but currently does not see patients by appointment in an ambulatory setting.
