Imran Siddiqi, MD, PhD, is a Professor of Clinical Pathology at UC Irvine School of Medicine. A board-certified anatomic and clinical pathologist and hematopathologist, Siddiqi currently serves as Director of Hematopathology at UCI Health.
An established hematopathologist with nearly 20 years of experience, Siddiqi joined the UC Irvine faculty following a 16-year tenure at the University of Southern California (USC). While at USC, he served as the Program Director for the Hematopathology Fellowship, Medical Director of the Hematology Clinical Laboratories and led an active hematopathology clinical practice consulting on cases from the Keck Medical Center of USC as well as the surrounding community.
Siddiqi earned his MD and PhD through the Medical Scientist Training Program at UCI before completing his residency in anatomic and clinical pathology and fellowship training in surgical pathology and hematopathology at UC San Francisco, where he also served as an Assistant Professor. He currently serves as the Editor-in-Chief for American Society of Clinical Pathology Case Reports and has co-authored more than 75 journal articles. His research focuses on lymphoma classification, disease-stratification biomarkers and the spatial analysis of tumor heterogeneity and the microenvironment.
