Jacob Stewart is a UCI Health nurse practitioner who is committed to providing comprehensive, patient-centered care. He specializes in preventive medicine, chronic disease management and patient education, with a focus on empowering individuals to take an active role in their health.
Stewart began his nursing career in the emergency department, where he developed strong clinical judgment and experience managing acute and complex conditions. He earned his master of science in nursing as a family nurse practitioner from Texas State University. He continued his career practicing emergency medicine before relocating to California with his family, where he now provides primary care in family medicine.
He is known for building meaningful relationships with patients through clear communication, evidence-based treatment and a holistic approach to care. His diverse clinical background informs a thoughtful, practical approach to addressing both immediate concerns and long-term health goals.
Outside of work, Stewart enjoys spending time with his husband and children. Together, they enjoy scuba diving, snowboarding, video games, hiking and camping.
