James J. Yun, MD

Dr. James J. Yun is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in physical medicine and rehabilitation.
He earned his medical degree from the Lewis Katz School of Medicine at Temple University in Philadelphia. During his time in medical school, he was inducted into both the Gold Humanism Honor Society and Alpha Omega Alpha honor society. He completed a residency in physical medicine and rehabilitation at JFK Johnson Rehabilitation Institute in Edison, N.J., where he served as chief resident during his final year. He then completed his fellowship training in cancer rehabilitation at the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia, making him among the nation's few fellowship-trained physicians in this subspecialty.
He has been active in the PM&R community as a member of the American Academy of Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation (AAPM&R), presenting multiple case reports at national conferences, and contributing to educational efforts as a chapter author for the PM&R board review book.
