Dr. Jasmin Lebastchi is a board-certified UCI Health endocrinologist and obesity medicine specialist, certified by the American Board of Obesity Medicine (ABOM). She specializes in metabolic disorders, including diabetes and obesity, as well as diseases of the thyroid, adrenal and pituitary glands.
She earned her medical degree from the University of Hamburg in Germany. She completed a postdoctoral fellowship at Yale University and her residency in internal medicine through the Yale New Haven Health Program. She subsequently completed a fellowship in endocrinology, diabetes, and metabolism at Harvard Medical School, Brigham and Women’s Hospital, in Boston. Prior to joining UCI Health and the UCI School of Medicine, she served on the faculty at Brown University.
Lebastchi is the author and co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in medical journals.
