Megan M. McConnell, MD
Endocrinology
Dr. Megan McConnell is a board-certified UCI Health endocrinologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of endocrine disorders, with particular expertise in osteoporosis, metabolic bone disease, calcium disorders and parathyroid disease. She also provides comprehensive care for patients with diabetes, thyroid, adrenal, pituitary and other hormonal conditions.
Originally from the Chicagoland area, McConnell earned her bachelor's degree and medical degree from UCLA, where she also completed her internal medicine residency and endocrinology fellowship. Prior to joining UCI Health, she served as a faculty endocrinologist at UCLA, caring for patients while teaching and mentoring medical students, residents and fellows.
McConnell recently relocated to Orange County with her family and is excited to care for the local community through UCI Health. She is committed to providing compassionate, evidence-based care and partnering with patients to develop personalized treatment plans that support lifelong health.
