He completed a residency in neurological surgery at Westchester Medical Center in Valhalla, N.Y., followed by a fellowship in skull base microneurosurgery at the Surgical Innovations Lab at Weill Cornell Medical College in New York, and a fellowship in neurological surgery at UC Irvine Medical Center in Orange.
