Dr. Mimi Sohn is a board-certified neurologist and Health Sciences Clinical Professor of Neurology at the University of California, Irvine, specializing in headache medicine.
Sohn earned her medical degree from Ewha Womans University in South Korea and completed her neurology residency and fellowship training in clinical neurophysiology at the Medical University of South Carolina (MUSC).
Before joining UCI Health, she was a professor of neurology at MUSC and a staff neurologist at the Ralph H. Johnson VA Health Care System in Charleston, South Carolina. Her clinical interests include migraine and other headache disorders, with particular expertise in procedural treatments such as botulinum toxin injections and peripheral nerve blocks.
