Dr. Shilpa J. Ghatnekar is a board-certified UCI Health dermatologist.
She earned her combined medical and business degree from Tufts University School of Medicine/Brandeis Heller School for Social Policy and Management in Boston, MA. She completed a transitional year internship at Newton-Wellesley Hospital in Newton, Mass., followed by a residency in dermatology at Boston Medical Center.
Her clinical interests include general dermatology, procedural dermatology, skin of color, follicular disorders and pigmentary disorders. Her non-clinical interests include the intersection of dermatology with innovation and entrepreneurship and advocacy for both dermatologists and the larger physician community.
