He earned his medical degree from Government Medical College in India. He completed a residency in internal medicine at New York Medical College and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center in Paterson, N.J., followed by a fellowship in pulmonary disease and critical care medicine at New York Medical College and St. Joseph’s Hospital and Medical Center.
