Dr. Cassiana E. Bittencourt is a board-certified UCI Health physician who specializes in anatomic and clinical pathology.
She earned her medical degree from Universidade Metropolitana de Santos in Santos, Brazil. She completed a residency in clinical pathology and laboratory medicine at Hospital das Clínicas in São Paulo, followed by residencies in anatomic and clinical pathology at Case Western Reserve University in Cleveland, and the University of South Florida Morsani College of Medicine in Tampa. She then completed a fellowship in medical microbiology at the University of Texas Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas.
