Judith H. Chung, MD

Dr. Judith Chung is a board-certified UCI Health Obstetrician who specializes in maternal-fetal medicine (high-risk pregnancies).
Chung earned her medical degree at the University of Pennsylvania's Perelman School of Medicine in Philadelphia. She completed a Residency in Obstetrics and Gynecology at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania, also in Philadelphia, and completed a fellowship in maternal-fetal medicine at the UC Irvine School of Medicine. She also earned a doctoral degree from UCLA in health services research and epidemiology.
Her research interests include the identification of risk factors for adverse pregnancy outcomes, diabetes in pregnancy, hospital site of delivery for high-risk pregnancies and clinical research design. She is the author or co-author of more than 90 peer-reviewed articles in leading medical journals and has contributed chapters to numerous textbooks in obstetrics and gynecology.
