Dr. Austin R. Fox is a UCI Health ophthalmologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of cataracts and glaucoma.
He earned his medical degree at the University of South Alabama College of Medicine in Mobile, Ala. He completed an internal medicine internship and ophthalmology residency at the University of Iowa Hospitals & Clinics in Iowa City, where he also received fellowship training in glaucoma.
His research interests include glaucoma screening and management, health literacy and compliance, and quality improvement. He is the author or co-author of numerous research papers that have been published in peer-reviewed journals.
Fox sees patients in Irvine and Orange.
