Amanda N. Goldin, MD

Dr. Amanda N. Goldin is a board-certified UCI Health orthopaedic surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of musculoskeletal tumors. She treats both adult and pediatric patients with tumors of the extremities and pelvis, with clinical interests in bone and soft tissue sarcomas and metastatic skeletal disease. She is a faculty member in the Department of Orthopaedic Surgery at the UC Irvine School of Medicine and works closely with the Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center, an NCI-designated cancer center.

She earned her medical degree at Saint Louis University School of Medicine in St. Louis, where she was admitted to the Alpha Omega Alpha Honor Medical Society and received the Rodney M. Coe, MD, Award for community service. She completed a residency in orthopaedic surgery at the UC San Diego, followed by a fellowship in musculoskeletal oncology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, where she received specialized training in bone and soft tissue sarcoma resection and reconstruction, including limb salvage techniques.

Goldin has interests in both clinical and basic science research and has authored several published papers. During her training, she received multiple research grants and earned first-place honors in the basic science category at the Southwest Regional Resident Research Symposium. She regularly attends national meetings, including those of the Musculoskeletal Tumor Society, the Society of Surgical Oncology and the American Academy of Orthopaedic Surgeons.
