Dr. Tabetha Harken is a board-certified UCI Health gynecologist.

She founded the Division of Complex Family Planning and the Women's Options Center at the University of California, Irvine, allowing UCI to become the only hospital-based service provider for high-risk abortion and contraceptive care in Orange, San Bernardino and Riverside counties.

Harken and her team of double-board-certified experts care for patients with complex medical and surgical conditions while ensuring the highest level of compassion and confidentiality. They have grown the division and recently launched the Complex Family Planning Fellowship, continuing their strong history of educating the OB/GYNs of the future to provide excellent, full-scope reproductive care. Under Harken's leadership, the division has developed expertise in the diagnosis and management of cesarean scar ectopic pregnancies (CSEPs). They serve as the first- and second-trimester experts for management of patients with placenta accreta spectrum.
