Dr. Nii-Kabu Kabutey is a board-certified UCI Health vascular and endovascular surgeon who has additional training in vascular interventional radiology.
Kabutey is skilled in the most advanced, minimally invasive techniques to treat the full spectrum of arterial and venous disorders. He is dedicated to providing the most comprehensive care to patients suffering from vascular disease.
He received his medical degree from Albany Medical College in Albany, N.Y. He finished an internship and residency in general surgery at Drexel University College of Medicine in Philadelphia. He completed a fellowship in vascular/interventional radiology at Boston University School of Medicine and a fellowship in vascular surgery at Columbia University Medical Center and Cornell University in New York.
Kabutey's clinical research focuses on the development and use of minimally invasive endovascular technologies to treat aneurysmal arterial disease, critical limb ischemia and deep venous thrombosis. He has presented his clinical research results at both international and national meetings, authored numerous peer-reviewed articles in prestigious surgical and radiology journals and written many book chapters about his areas of expertise.
