Dr. Piyanuch Kongtim is a UCI Health hematologic-oncologist who specializes in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy.
She earned her medical degree at Thammasat University Faculty of Medicine in Thailand, where she also completed an internal medicine internship. Next, she completed a residency in hematology at Mahidol University's Siriraj Hospital in Bangkok, Thailand, followed by a fellowship in stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas.
Kongtim is the author or co-author of numerous peer-reviewed publications in major journals, including the American Journal of Hematology, Advanced Hematology and the Annals of Hematology.
She sees patients at the UCI Health Chao Family Comprehensive Cancer Center in Orange.
