Dr. Samuel Lai is a board-certified UCI Health hospitalist who specializes in internal medicine and managing inpatient general medicine diseases, such as acute kidney injury, sepsis, COPD, congestive heart failure and cardiac arrhythmias.
His clinical interests include pre-operative medicine, and inpatient medicine.
Lai earned a medical degree from Texas A&M Health Science Center in College Station, TX. He completed his internal medicine residency at UC Irvine School of Medicine. He enjoys building relationships with his patients and his student learners.
