Robert M. McCarron, DO

Dr. Robert M. McCarron is a board-certified UCI Health psychiatrist.
He completed a dual residency in internal medicine and psychiatry at Rush University. He further advanced his expertise through a two-year fellowship in integrative medicine at the Academy of Integrative Health and Medicine.
McCarron has held numerous leadership roles in medical education, including serving for many years as a residency director for both psychiatry and internal medicine. He is the Founding Director of the Train New Trainers (TNT) Primary Care Fellowships at the University of California, Irvine—one-year programs designed to equip primary care providers with core competencies in adult psychiatry, pediatric psychiatry and substance use disorder behavioral health.
