Dr. Jorge Ramos-Perez is a board-certified UCI Health hematologist and medical oncologist who specializes in hematologic malignancies.
Ramoz-Perez earned his medical degree from Universidad Autonoma de Santo Domingo in the Dominican Republic. He completed a residency in internal medicine at Bronx-Lebanon Hospital Center in New York City, followed by a fellowship in leukemia at MD Anderson Cancer Center in Houston, Texas, where he conducted clinical and research education in bone marrow disorders, hematopoietic stem cell transplantation and cellular therapy. Next, he completed a fellowship in hematology and medical oncology at City of Hope Comprehensive Cancer Center in Duarte, Calif.
He is deeply committed to providing the optimal care for his patients and to improving the outcome of patients with hematologic malignancies who need a stem cell transplant.
Ramos-Perez, who is also a native-level Spanish speaker, sees patients in Orange and Irvine.
