Dr. Amin Sabet is a board-certified UCI Health cardiologist who specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of heart disease. He works closely with patients to manage conditions including coronary artery disease, valvular heart disease, heart rhythm abnormalities and heart failure. His clinical interests include cardiovascular imaging, valvular disease, coronary artery disease and cardiac involvement in autoimmune diseases.
Sabet earned his medical degree at Tehran University Azad Medical Branch in Iran, after which he worked as a researcher at the University of Bonn in Germany and at UC San Diego. He completed a residency in internal medicine at UC Riverside School of Medicine-RCH, followed by a fellowship in cardiovascular disease at UC San Francisco School of Medicine, Fresno campus. Next, he completed a fellowship in advanced cardiac imaging at UC San Diego School of Medicine.
His approach to patient care is defined by evidence-based, personalized treatment, patient education, and a commitment to patient well-being. His advanced training in multimodality cardiovascular imaging, including echocardiography, nuclear cardiology, cardiac MRI and cardiac CT, enhance his understanding, diagnosis and treatment of cardiovascular diseases. His work has been published in many peer-reviewed journals.
