Dr. Irene S. Tsai is a board-certified UCI Health radiologist who specializes in the detection and diagnosis of breast cancer. Her clinical interests include breast MRI, high-risk breast screening and image-guided breast biopsy.

She obtained her medical degree from the David Geffen School of Medicine at UCLA, where she also completed a residency in diagnostic radiology and a fellowship in breast imaging.

Tsai is the director of breast imaging at UCI Medical Center in Orange and UCI Health — Yorba Linda. She also serves as interim chief of breast imaging for the Department Radiological Sciences and director of its breast imaging fellowship program. 

She sees patients in Costa Mesa, Irvine, Orange and Yorba Linda.
